You’ll need to kill 25 enemy Guardians in Gambit, and either kill four enemies in your single invade once or have a teammate kill four enemies in a single invade three times.

This final quest step was pretty easy, for our group at least. Four motes, nine motes, 12 motes, it didn’t matter. Anytime we could, we would bank motes into the middle. The strategy that worked best here for us was constant banking. But if you don’t play carefully, you’ll end up going backward. You can achieve this quest step in the amount of games you’ll play to make 10 wins. However, losing any Motes will actually set you back by two times the amount lost. You’ll need to deposit around 400 Motes in Gambit. The second part is easier said than done. You’ll need to win 10 games of Gambit to charge the first part of the core. Jump into Gambit with some friends and get ready to win. After you talk to the Drifter, you’ll need to charge the weapon core.

This is the hardest and most time-consuming step in the entire quest. Return to the Drifter with what you’ve found, and get ready for plenty of Gambit. Defeat the boss with your team and investigate the grave site. Eventually you’ll find your way to Callum’s grave, and a boss’ll spawn. Go through as normal and follow the instructions. This strike is a recommended power level of 580, which is very high. Once you’ve killed all the Taken bosses, you and a Fireteam will be able to launch into an altered version of The Corrupted strike. This step will likely be difficult for most players. The Chamber of Starlight lost sector is also located in Rheasilvia, and is a good one to run fast. If you don’t want to wait for the event, you can also go into a Lost Sector with a Taken boss at the end of it. In the Dreaming City, you’ll frequently run into an event where enemies move against each other, which’ll cause several Taken enemies to appear. It means bosses that have long, segmented health bars. This doesn’t just mean yellow or orange bars. Once you’ve defeated the Primeval and earned the heart, take it back to the Drifter in the Tower. Once you finally manage to summon the right Primeval, make sure that you do everything in your power to win the round. Keep playing Gambit, and try and win as often as possible. The problem here is that the spawn rate is very low, and after it spawns you’ll actually need to kill it. This looks like the final boss from the campaign. There is a small chance each time you summon the Primeval that it’ll be an Ascended Taken Servitor. To get the corrupted heart to start the Malfeasance quest, you’ll need to play some Gambit.
